What’s On

TWO of the South East Roller Derby’s home teams, the Dolly Rodgers and the Cutthroat Charmers, will be skating for their lives in a special zombie themed bout called Dawn of the Rolling Dead. Market stalls, merchandise stands, face painting and a bar for over 18s will be on site and everyone is encouraged to dress up.
– Saturday 30 May, Springers Leisure Centre, Keysborough. Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm game start. Tickets are available at the door, $10 for adults, $5 for under 12s, and free entry for under children under five.
Red Cross turns 36
FRIENDS of Red Cross in Hallam are celebrating its 36th birthday with Eunice Welch of the Red Cross Stamp Collection Department as guest speaker.

Animals invade the market
FROM crocodiles and alpacas to mummy and baby rabbits, animals will take over the Dandenong Market over five themed days throughout May, turning the market place into the ultimate destination for future farmers and budding zoologists.
– Every Sunday in May, 11am to 3pm in the Market Square, Dandenong. Cow milking will be available on the 31 May.
Relay for Life
THE City of Greater Dandenong’s 2015 Relay for Life is already in planning and the team is hoping to get new members to raise money for the Cancer Council.

Autumn retreat

THE Dandenong Philatelic Society will hold a stamp auction and viewing of many different stamps.
