Factory fire sends smoke over suburbs

A factory fire is sending smoke over Dandenong, Dandenong South and Keysborough.
The CFA is warning people to stay informed and monitor conditions but says there is no threat to the community.
Fire crews were called to the Pacific Drive address at 10.07am on Monday 26 February and arrived just two minutes later.
They found a dust collector on fire inside the factory, and declared the blaze under control at 10.18am.
A CFA spokesman said the fire was contained within the premises but firefighters would be on scene for several hours to completely extinguish it.
Residents and commercial premises experiencing smoke from the fire should close windows and doors and stay out of the smoke path.
Traffic in the area will be affected.
