Suburban Melbourne landscapes inspired this series of paintings by artist Hans Schiebold.

Anzac commemorations
The Noble Park and Springvale RSLs will hold marches to services on the Sunday before Anzac Day, 25 April.

Twilight Fun Run
Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to take part.
Course lengths include 3km, 5km and 8km.
– Tirhatuan Park, Outlook Drive (enter via Kriegel Way), Dandenong North. Saturday 21 April, 5pm to 8.30pm. $10 per person, $25 for a family of up to five. Call 9701 5900, email events.dandenong@ymca.org.au or register on the day.
Tradition Split
Graham Dean and Kristie Keogh make up the No Pressure Artists Collaborative.
Dean is a self-taught contemporary artist and Keogh uses a range of media to explore her Koori heritage.

Back to nature
The Alex Wilkie Nature Reserve is open every Friday and on the third Sunday of the month during summer and autumn.
The reserve is ideal for casual walks or enjoying a family barbecue or picnic.
Council park rangers are available for guided tours.
Live steamers mini-trains are available for rides on Sunday open days. Closed-toe shoes are required for train rides.

Family fun at the library
Children and their carers can enjoy Lego, chess, puzzles and games.
Playing games together can improve literacy, numeracy, spatial awareness, socially appropriate behaviour and fair play.
This event is free and no booking is required.
