More homes to be connected

LATEST National Broadband Network (NBN) plans show an extra 10,400 homes and businesses in the Isaacs electorate will be connected by June 2016.
Dandenong, Dandenong North, Dandenong South, Doveton, Eumemmerring, Hallam, Keysborough, Noble Park and Springvale South are among the areas included.
Isaacs MP and Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus said the updated three-year roll-out plan would see more than 80,500 premises in the electorate receive access to fast, reliable broadband through the NBN’s fibre network.
“The fibre rollout is currently under construction or complete to 8033 premises locally,” he said.
