Kidnap case arrest

POLICE have arrested 21-year-old Laini Diamante, who was wanted regarding outstanding warrants.
Laini was arrested on Tuesday and charged with numerous offences including kidnapping, blackmail, robbery and intentionally cause injury.
She has been remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 22 April.

POLICE are appealing for help to find a woman involved in a kidnapping who is believed to be living in Dandenong.
Monash CIU detectives are investigating the alleged kidnapping of a man and a woman from premises on Dandenong Road in Clayton about 7.30am on Sunday 19 January.
They arrested five people in relation to the incident between 26 January and 3 February and charged them with kidnapping, blackmail, robbery, intentionally causing injury and other associated charges.
A Noble Park man, 18, a Dandenong man, 24, a Noble Park woman, 25, a Coburg man, 25, and a Cheltenham woman, 23, were remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 22 April.
Police also arrested a 21-year-old Dandenong man after he was intercepted in the victim’s car two days later.
The man, believed to have links to Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang members, was released pending further inquiries.
Detectives are now appealing to help to find 21-year-old Laini Diamante so they can question her.
Ms Diamante is of no fixed address but investigators believe she is staying at motels in the Dandenong area.
They’ve released an image of her in the hope that someone can provide information on her current whereabouts.
She has dark reddish-brown hair and is described as about 170 centimetres tall and of medium build.
Police urged anyone who sees Ms Diamante to call triple zero immediately and anyone with other information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
