DANDENONG Market’s The Kitchen celebrated its first birthday last week with cake – and twice-cooked goat’s cheese soufflé.
Resident chef Russell Bald whipped up the dish on Tuesday 25 March to mark the milestone after it was selected as the people’s choice recipe through a Facebook poll.
The demonstration kitchen hosts cooking classes from noon to 1pm on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
They show shoppers how to quickly and easily transform fresh market produce into healthy, budget-friendly and delicious meals.
Dandenong Market also launched 52 new free recipes on www.dandenongmarket.com.au to mark the occasion for the 52 weeks The Kitchen has been in operation.
