VANDALS set fire to a white Holden Commodore wagon in Dandenong South about 4.20am on Friday 12 September.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Lara Murray said they removed mag wheels from the car parked on the South Gippsland Highway before torching it.
A white Holden Commodore sedan was seen leaving the scene.
Sen Const Murray urged witnesses or anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
