TWO men and a woman, all from Springvale, have been arrested after police found more than 400 cannabis plants in homes in Melbourne’s east yesterday.
According to a police statement, Monash CIU detectives found 268 plants during a property raid in Arthur Street, Ashwood, about 2.30pm.
A police raid conducted shortly after uncovered 178 plants inside a Leonie Avenue, Mt Waverley, home.
Police also seized cash in a raid on a house in Gunther Street, Springvale.
Police said the three people arrested are in custody and are assisting with inquiries.
