A DANDENONG North teen has reportedly died while fighting for Islamic State in the Middle East.
It has been rumoured Irfaan Hussein, 19, was either executed for trying to leave the extremist group or killed in a bomb blast.
He was said to be a Lyndale Secondary College student and friends with Numan Haider, who stabbed two police outside Endeavour Hills Police Station last year and was shot dead.
The Journal contacted the school but was advised that the Education Department had asked principal Mark Moir not to make any public comment.
We’ll bring you more as it comes to hand.
