THIEVES have stolen more than $550 in coins from central Dandenong parking meters.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Sergeant Luke Kirton said they drilled out the locks on five machines between 1am and 3.30am on Saturday 12 December.
They were located in the King Street car park near Aldi, opposite Dandenong Market on Clow Street, on Hemmings Street about 100 metres from Robinson Street, in the Robinson Street car park opposite Rodd Street, and in the Mason Street car park about 100m from Foster Street.
