A CLEANING service helping young people to find their feet is sweeping into Greater Dandenong.
TRY is one of Australia’s oldest social enterprises and is bringing its TRY Clean program to Dandenong.
The commercial office cleaning service employs young people referred through employment service providers and welfare agencies.
The program’s aim is to transition the workers from the entry-level employment experience into further study or future employment.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses to support young people on the path to achieving their potential and becoming contributors in their local communities,” TRY Australia CEO Julia Cambage said.
TRY works with communities to identify needs, then collaborates with businesses and organisations to provide opportunities to transform lives.
All profits go into programs to meet social needs. Visit www.try.org.au to find out more.
