Five dozen theft and burglary charges

By Casey Neill

A Dandenong man facing 65 theft and burglary charges is out on bail.
Greater Dandenong CIU members executed two search warrants on Tuesday 13 September, in Cambridge Close, Berwick, and Glynda Street, Dandenong.
The searches followed a three-month investigation into burglaries and thefts on business premises throughout the south-east, targeting cash and electrical goods.
Police arrested a 25-year-old Dandenong man and charged him with 65 offences relating to burglary and theft.
He was presented directly to Dandenong Magistrates’ Court where the magistrate released him on bail to reappear on Thursday 6 October.
Police expect to lay further charges.
They also arrested and interviewed a 28-year-old Dandenong man and released him pending summons.
