Life-threatening crash injuries

By Casey Neill

An unidentified man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a Keysborough collision.
Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses to the Wednesday 7 June crash.
They believe a silver 1998 Toyota Camry sedan was travelling south on Perry Road about 7.50am when its driver took a right-hand bend and lost control.
Police said the vehicle crossed double lines and collided with the passenger side of a north-bound Mercedes van.
A 42-year-old man, the sole occupant of Mercedes, was not injured.
The man driving the Toyota sustained life-threatening injuries, and is yet to be formally identified.
Police believe the Toyota was travelling from Noble Park shortly before the crash, but are still trying to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
They urged anyone who saw the collision or spotted the Toyota beforehand to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
