Banks cards, cash stolen

By Casey Neill

Four men robbed a Noble Park man as he walked down David Street, Dandenong.
Police said the 43-year-old was between Ross Street and Caroll Avenue about 10.45pm on Sunday 2 July when the group approached and demanded a cigarette.
When he said he didn’t have any, they allegedly grabbed his bag from his shoulder and rummaged through it before dumping it on the ground.
One of the men took the victim’s wallet from his pocket.
They fled towards Princes Highway with the victim’s bank cards and a small amount of cash.
The victim was not injured in the incident.
He described the men as African in appearance and said they were dressed in dark clothing with hoods and baseball caps.
Police urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
