Police are protecting Greater Dandenong’s most vulnerable road users through a new operation.
Operation Pieton started on Thursday 20 July and will involve Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol targeting speeding, mobile phone use, substance-affected drivers, failing to give way and pedestrians committing offences.
This operation is being held in partnership with the TAC’s Towards Zero campaign, which is a vision of a future free of fatal and serious injuries on the roads.
