Door slammed on attackers

A Springvale man held back would-be burglars as they tried to force their way into his home.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Sergeant Craig West is appealing for anyone with information about the Sunday 26 November attempted aggravated burglary to come forward.
He said a couple, both aged 26, were inside their Furnew Street home when two men tried to enter through a rear door about 11am.
Det Sgt West said they were wearing balaclavas and black clothing.
The male held the door closed and the two men eventually left.
