Driver sprung in Springvale

Police allegedly spotted a man smoking ice while he was driving in Springvale.
The Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives were on the way back to the office when they allegedly saw the driver on Westall Road about 6.45am on Saturday 7 April.
They said he was lighting drug paraphernalia while driving so they pulled him over and searched his car.
Police seized what was believed to be cannabis and methylamphetamine, or ice, from the vehicle.
They took the 33-year-old Mount Eliza man back to a police station where he returned a positive result for methylamphetamine.
He is expected to be charged on summons with a range of drug and traffic-related offences.
