Shot corpse found in crashed car

A man believed to be aged in his 50s has been found dead with gunshot wounds in a crashed car in Dandenong.

The man was found in a car that crashed in a pole in Dawn Avenue on Sunday 3 March about 9.55pm.

Homicide Squad detectives believe it was a “targeted” killing.

Police have not linked it to shootings in Kensington and Meadow Heights in recent days.
