A man arrested in Dandenong is facing charges of carjacking and stealing from a motor vehicle.
Police say that a 26-year-old woman was carjacked as she got into her Lexus sedan on Marshall Avenue about 10.15am on Tuesday 11 June.
The man, a 20-year-old from Langwarrin, allegedly pulled her out and drove away in the car.
He was arrested by Monash CIU detectives in Dandenong on the morning of Wednesday 12 June.
He was charged and remanded to appear at Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court on 27 June.
