Bald truth for Greatest Shave

KEYSBOROUGH-based hairdresser Sarah Franco, 20, swallowed professional pride and shaved her head for a leukaemia research fund-raiser last Friday.

Sarah said she did the shave as an act of solidarity with her aunt Maria, who recently shed her hair as a result of chemotherapy for breast cancer.

She was also hoping to raise $400 for the Leukaemia Foundation as part of the World’s Greatest Shave.
