THE Southern Football League has announced David Cannizzo as its new chief executive.
The SFL announced the league’s former football operations manager would take over the role on August 29 from caretaker CEO Kingsley Ellis.
Cannizzo spent last season as general manager at the South Metro Junior Football League.
An SFL statement cited Cannizzo’s first-class experience and the knowledge he had gained at the SMJFL as reasons for his appointment.
