Woman, 67, attacked in Hallam

A 67-YEAR-old woman suffered a broken pelvis and ribs after being attacked while walking her dog in Hallam parkland last week.

Police say an unknown man approached her from behind as she strolled in the park near Tripoli Court last Wednesday about 5.15pm.

The man allegedly pushed her to the ground, yelling ‘‘cop that’’ and then fleeing.

He was described as Caucasian with a tanned complexion, in his late 30s-early 40s, bald with brown hair on the back of his neck, medium build and about 177 centimetres.

He was wearing a navy blue jumper and blue pants during the attack.

The woman was later treated at a private hospital in Dandenong.
