Prostitute lures client to robbery

A man was robbed after soliciting a prostitute in Thomas Street, Dandenong. The man, 25, of Doveton, approached the prostitute, negotiating a $50 fee about 2.15am on April 24. He drove her to an address — suggested by her — where two men were waiting outside and demanded his wallet. They stole $100. Acting Detective Sergeant Jason Wombwell of Greater Dandenong CIU said the victim faced a possible charge of soliciting a street prostitute.
