A plaque will be unveiled for one of Springvale’s late ‘living treasures’ on Sunday. John Beus, a founding member of the Springvale Benevolent Society, was heavily awarded for his charitable work up until his death last year. The plaque ceremony is at Springvale and District Historical Society, 7 Hillcrest Grove, Springvale, at 2pm. RSVP to Joe Rechichi on 9546 5558.
