Noble Park North house fire treated as suspicious

POLICE are investigating a suspicious house fire in Noble Park North on Friday morning.

CFA crews were alerted to smoke coming from the garage of a Rainsford Drive house some time between 5-7am.

Arson investigators believe someone gained access through a side fence and used matches to set alight a wooden chest of drawers in the garage.

The house was empty at the time. One CFA unit attended and contained the fire to the garage.

Anyone with information should Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit crimestoppers.com.au.
