'Party' driver faces charges

A Doveton man is expected to be charged with drink-driving after allegedly being intercepted while giving four teenage boys a lift to a party for $10. Police said they pulled over the 30-year-old driver in Robinson Street, Dandenong, about 9.40pm last Saturday week, and noticed the four boys drinking alcohol in the car. The boys told police the man offered them a lift for cash. His blood-alcohol test gave a reading of 0.184. Police said the man would be charged on summons with drink-driving and unlicensed driving.
