Haunting performance
THE Haunting of Daniel Gartrell invites audiences to reflect on the impact secrets have on life with humour and poignancy.
Samuel Johnson, Max Gillies and Michala Banas star in the play, which sees a young actor from the city score his first leading role in a biopic about bush poet, Daniel Gartrell.
Keen to bring authenticity to the role, he arrives on the poet’s doorstep without notice and mystery and mind games begin.

The Wolfe Brothers
COUNTRY rockers The Wolfe Brothers performed on last year’s Australia’s Got Talent series.
The four-piece band from Hobart finished in second place on the television show final, have since toured with country legend Lee Kernaghan and will perform in the south east next month.

Healthy cooking
GREATER Dandenong residents can get tips on where to shop for vegies and how to prepare delicious, healthy meals.
Dandenong Market will host cooking demonstrations as part of a broader social marketing campaign targeting mums and encouraging them to provide healthy food options at home.
The Local Mums, Local Stories campaign is part of Healthy Together Greater Dandenong.

Advancing women
ZONTA Club of Melbourne’s east advances the status of women of all ages worldwide through various projects.
It meets for dinner with a guest speaker each month and is welcoming new members.

Seniors celebration
HARMONY Village is a not-for-profit retirement village in the heart of Dandenong and will celebrate Victorian Seniors Week with a free two-day festival.
