Bypass conjured up online

AN ANIMATION of what the finished Dingley Bypass will look like is now online.
Roads Minister Terry Mulder released the video last week.
“The animation has been designed to give the local community a bird’s eye view of what the $156 million project will look like once completed,” he said.
“Once complete, the 6.4 kilometre Dingley Bypass will link Warrigal Road at Moorabbin and Westall Road at Dingley Village.
“The Dingley Bypass completes a missing link between Moorabbin and Dandenong South, and will revolutionise how local traffic and industry go about their day-to-day business.
“Once complete, local traffic will be separated from through-traffic, reducing congestion, particularly on busy roads such as Centre Dandenong, Kingston, Heatherton and Old Dandenong roads.”
Mordialloc MP Lorraine Wreford said the project was due to start later this year and was vital to remove traffic from the rapidly-growing industrial and commercial areas off local roads.
The project will take about two years to complete. Visit www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/dingleybypass to view the video.
