THIEVES have punched and robbed a Keysborough man as he walked through Noble Park.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Sergeant Jason Owen said the 21-year-old was walking along Mile Creek towards Tower Court about 11pm on Friday 19 February.
Two Caucasian men wearing black pants and grey hooded jumpers approached and demanded his mobile phone.
The victim refused, and the men, both about 190 centimetres tall, punched him in the face, splitting his lower lip.
The thieves then demanded the phone’s passcode and punched the victim to the face again when he refused to provide it.
Det Sgt Owen said the men fled the scene and appealed for anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
