Police are appealing for information about a car fire in Dandenong South.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Marisa Owens said thieves took the Nissan Patrol from a home in Sarton Road, Clayton, in the early hours of Tuesday 16 August.
It was parked on Gaine Road in Dandenong South when a motorcyclist set it alight about 1.45am on Wednesday 17 August.
A witness saw the fire and called the CFA, which attended and extinguished the blaze.
