Armed thieves after fags, lollies

Armed thieves stole lollies and cigarettes from a Dandenong milk bar.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Kim Alp said two men attended the store at David and James streets about 9.30pm on Thursday 4 May.
She said they arrived at closing time in a champagne-coloured Nissan Maxima stolen from a Glen Waverley address earlier that night.
One carried a long metal pole into the milk bar and the other a bag.
They jumped the counter, filled the bag with confectionary and tobacco items and fled the scene in the Maxima.
Det Sen Const Alp said there might have been a third person in the car who acted as a getaway driver.
She said the men who entered the store were both wearing balaclavas, made no threats and did not assault the attendant.
Det Sen Const Alp urged anyone with information on the robbery to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
