Teenagers injured in gatecrash

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy was hit in the face with a bottle and a 15-year-old girl suffered neck injuries after the party they attended last week was thrown into turmoil by two intruders.
Police said at about 11.45pm on 2 January, two people disguised with T-shirts pulled over their faces forced open the electric gates of a residence on Perry Road, Keysborough.
About 15 people, aged 15 and 16, were partying unsupervised at the house and dispersed when the intruders entered the premises.
Police said the intruders chased the 16-year-old from Mentone into a bungalow and hit him in the face with a glass bottle, breaking his nose.
He was taken to the Dandenong Hospital for treatment.
The 15-year-old girl from Cheltenham also received injuries when she was pushed into a wall.
She was taken to Monash Medical Centre with neck injuries where she remained overnight for observation.
Police said other party-goers also received minor injuries.
The gatecrashers left the premises on foot, but police believe they may have left the area in a vehicle.
