Buckle your kids up safely

Free child and baby car-seat checks will be offered at Springvale this Friday and Saturday.

An expert will be on hand to check if car seats are fitted correctly.

It is part of a Springvale community program targeting child road-trauma –the leading cause of death and disability amongst children in Australia.

The event is partnered by organisations such as Victoria Police, VicRoads and Greater Dandenong Council.

On 20 August, road safety experts and police officers spoke at a free educative forum on the issue at Springvale Town Hall.

The free seat checks will be held at Springvale Service for Children, 28 Lightwood Avenue, Springvale on Friday 31 August and Saturday 1 September, 10am-3pm.

Bookings essential. Phone: 8558 3800.
