Get into the network

RETAILERS are encouraged to enjoy a networking night in Dandenong next month.
On Tuesday 3 August, the Dandenong Retail Traders’ Association (DRTA) will replace its general meeting with a free informal Networking Evening.
Current members can bring along someone new to the event to learn about the benefits of being a DRTA member, DRTA chairman Roy Aspinall said.
“This is an evening all retailers should not miss as they can network with their fellow retailers and, if they are not already members, they can discover the advantages of membership,” he said.
“The DRTA executive endeavours to keep members up to date with happenings in Central Dandenong and other issues that may affect or benefit them.
“Take advantage of this Networking Evening and meet your fellow retailers and, if you are not already a member, come along and join up.
The networking event will be at the Ramada Encore Hotel, on 50 McCrae Street, Dandenong, from 6pm until 7.30pm.
The annual subscription is $85 for the financial year and the fee includes one free ticket to the DRTA Annual General Meeting and Business Awards Dinner in November and entry into the awards.
