SATURDAY’S rain meant there was no play for the Noble Park’s first and fourth XIs in the Victorian Sub District Cricket Association, but the twos and threes got away in their clashes with Mount Waverley.
At Pat Wright Senior Oval, the Bulls’ second XI was sent in on a green wicket and bowled out for 121.
Juniors Johann Wise (32 not out) and Ben Carmody (30) formed the backbone of the total.
At stumps, Mount Waverley was 3/24, with Sean Schubert picking up two wickets and Wise the other.
The thirds also lost the toss and were invited to bat by Mount Waverley after the conditions delayed the start of play.
Noble Park reached 8/185 in its allotted 65 overs, with captain Darren Wilcox (48) top scoring, Hatch captain Alistair Bray making 31 and Matthew Dodman (30) and Dave Parker (30) providing further support.
