A 31-YEAR-OLD Dandenong man was one of several people arrested in relation to a northern-suburbs drug ring last week.
Police conducted Operation Decane, led by the Greensborough Divisional Tasking Unit and involving units from Heidelberg, Mill Park and Dandenong.
Police said that on Thursday 10 July they intercepted a car in Station Street, Ringwood, and arrested a man and woman.
Shortly after a third person was arrested in Dandenong.
Police said simultaneous search warrants were then executed at properties in Eltham, Montmorency and Dandenong North.
Five people have been charged with drug trafficking offences and will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later this week.
