Assault witness sought

Police said that between 9 and 9.30pm onThursday 13 November a 29-year-old manfrom Rowville was attacked by a large group ofmen outside “The Lab” internet café on Springvale Road.
Greater Dandenong CIU Det Sen-Constable Peita Measham said the man was walkingpast the café with his girlfriend and had words with a man outside.
“He was then approached by 10-15 men of Asian appearance who kicked and punched him,” Det Sen Con Measham said.
“The victim was left with a broken nose, fractured ribs, concussion and bruising.”
She said it was believed that the internet café was busy at the time of the incident and urged witnesses to contact Senior Detective Dean Marchant at Dandenong Police on 9767 7460.
