Pen pistol shots fired in dispute

SHOTS were fired from a pen pistol and a man was stabbed multiple times during a domestic dispute at 2.20am Monday morning.
Police said the fight erupted after an 18-year-old man driving a silver Commodore sedan hit a fence outside a residence on David Street, Noble Park.
A 44-year-old Turkish man emerged from the residence and fired shots from a pistol made out of a pen.
Police said when the 18-year-old left the scene on foot, the 44-year-old man attacked the car with a hammer and an axe.
The 18-year-old arrived back at the residence with three people and two cars.
Police said two occupants of the vehicles stabbed the 44-year-old man multiple times.
He was taken to The Alfred hospital with life-threatening injuries.
As of Tuesday, he was listed in a critical condition.
Upon investigation, police found a bullet hole across the street from the property in a neighbour’s gate and recycling bin.
Police have spoken to one man about the incident. He has been interviewed and remanded in custody. They are hoping to speak to another man in relation to the incident.
