AUSTRALIA’S country music superstar, Adam Brand, will do a show at the Hallam Hotel this month as part of his Comin’ Home Tour.
Brand is thrilled to back on home turf after a move to Nashville last year.
“I was looking forward to this tour more than any tour I’ve ever done before,” he said.
“Being away in the US for most of the year and, releasing the album when not in country … I’ve been homesick for nine months.”
The tour kicked off in New South Wales on 1 December and will conclude in Albury on 29 January, meaning a solid two months of shows.
“We’ve really tried to maximise our time here and hit as many places as possible and just play for people,” Brand said.
He said fans can expect a good time at the Hallam show, with a few surprises, stories and new songs from his new album ‘It’s Gonna Be OK’.
“The shows so far have felt like a celebration in a way – thank goodness we’re home, let’s have a good time.”
After a solid rise on home soil, Brand is now taking the US by storm.
He recently signed with Sony Music Entertainment and completed a promotional tour across North America.
“There are no fans like your home country,” he said.
“But the US fans are good and rowdy … you’ve just got to speak slowly and use words they’ll understand.”
Brand’s Comin’ Home Tour will hit the Hallam Hotel on Thursday 27 January. Tickets are available from the venue by phoning 8786 0200 or visiting www.hallamhotel.com.au
The Star has two double passes to give away to Adam Brand’s Hallam Hotel gig, along with ‘Brand Bags’ of limited edition memorabilia valued at $100. For your chance to win, email your name and phone number to musogalore@hotmail.com.
