Factory fire

POLICE are investigating a fire at a Dandenong South factory on Monday night.
Staff locked up the Urban Rhythm store on Frankston-Dandenong Road at 5.30pm and smoke was seen coming from the building an hour later.
Police said the fire quickly engulfed the top floor of the premises which was unoccupied at the time.
Police and CFA attended the blaze, which took about an hour to contain.
The fire completely destroyed the office area on the mezzanine level of the factory and smoke and water damaged the stock below, shop owner Sam See said.
Several surrounding businesses also sustained smoke damage as a result of the fire.
Police are treating the blaze as suspicious.
Anyone who may have information about the fire is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
