Milestone sets a goal

KEYSBOROUGH will aim to celebrate the 300th game of champion forward Luke McGuiness with a win over ROC at Rowley Allen Reserve on Sunday.
“I don’t think teams play better because of milestones,” Keysborough coach Brad Canavan said.
“I just think it’s important you respect the fact that he’s done what he’s done and the players come focused to put in that little extra effort for him.”
Keysborough takes winning form into the match, with two wins from its past three games.
The Burras outlasted Tooradin-Dalmore by nine points in a tight contest last Saturday. The third term paved the way for victory as Keysborough piled on six goals.
While Keysborough’s big names were solid, it received excellent service from its lesser known group, such as Dean Kelly, Shannon Dart and Justin Olaman.
Davor Rajic and Tyson King contributed four goals each.
