Scissors and glue
CUT, Paste, Create is an exhibition showcasing collage works from five artists.
Tom Fantl, Helen Gory, Malcolm Lloyd, Jacqui Stockdale and Heidi Yardley cut and paste to create the artworks the old-fashioned way.
– Walker Street Gallery, corner Walker and Robinson streets, Dandenong. 11am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 11am to 3pm Saturdays until Saturday 3 May.
Jewellery, cards and cleaning
Heritage Hill is hosting workshops for adults in coming weeks.
Jewellery revamping with Melbourne jeweller Emma Grace will run from 10am to 1pm on Tuesday 29 April.
All materials will be provided for card-making with Mandy K from 10am to 1pm on Tuesday 20 May, and Green-Clean: Homemade cleaning products with Clare James will celebrate World Environment Day from 10am to noon on Thursday 5 June.

Lest we forget
Dandenong RSL will mark Anzac Day with a dawn service and march.
The dawn service starts at 5.45am at the Pillars of Freedom on Clow Street, Dandenong.
The march starts at the RSL, 44 Clow Street, Dandenong, at 10.30am and concludes with a service at the Pillars of Freedom.

Kokoda fundraiser
A KEYSBOROUGH couple tackling the Kokoda Trail and delivering supplies to schools along the way are fundraising for their journey.
Mark and Julie Capper are holding a Trek 4 Education cocktail party, with drinks at RSL member prices, entertainment, guest speakers, and a ‘last man standing’ raffle ticket draw where every ticket wins.
The team will complete the trek from 7 to 21 September and welcomes more members.

Free nutrition advice
DANDENONG Market welcomes dietitian Yvonne Lin to its family, for hour-long sessions on key health topics and nutritional advice.
She’ll join resident chef Russell Bald at The Kitchen for Dietitian’s Corner on the third Tuesday of each month.
This month they’ll highlight low FODMAP foods for Irritable Bowel Syndrome Awareness Month.

Easter Bunny visits
DANDENONG Market visitors can meet the Easter Bunny as he hands out chocolate eggs to good boys and girls.
Kids can add their own masterpiece to the papier mache bunny scene or explore the Cubby Pear.

SPRINGVALE Garden Club’s guest speaker at its meeting this month is Sue Ewart.
She’ll speak about bush foods, and will also have bush food produce for sale.

Circus with a twist
WORLD-renowned performance company Circa is bringing Wunderkammer to the Drum Theatre.
The production combines new circus, cabaret and vaudeville, blending expert circus skills with gentle subversive humour to produce a theatrical show with a sexy edge.
