Police hunt drive-by shooter

KELVINSIDE Road in Noble Park kept Greater Dandenong Police busy last week, with a drive-by shooting and a $300,000 drug raid.
A 33-year-old Noble Park man was shot in both legs while walking along the street on Monday 26 November.
Dandenong detectives are appealing for witnesses to the shots, which were fired from a moving car about 7pm.
The victim sought help from residents at a nearby house who called Triple-zero.
He was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital where he remains in a serious but non life-threatening condition.
Investigators are searching for a small, light blue hatchback they believe was used during the shooting.
Anyone with any information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au.
The shooting was almost a week after a drug raid on a home in the street on 20 November.
Police seized 191 cannabis plants, and hydroponic equipment valued at $15,000 after executing a drug search warrant.
