Man unconscious after assault

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault that left a 32-year-old Noble Park man unconscious.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives said a group of men were socialising in a park on Heatherton Road, Noble Park, about 8.30pm on 13 February when two men assaulted two other men.
One victim was taken to The Alfred hospital with serious head injuries. An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the man was unconscious when paramedics arrived, but regained consciousness soon after.
The second victim left before police arrived at the scene.
