MYER has quashed fresh rumours that the store has decided to leave Dandenong Plaza.
Myer corporate affairs general manager Jo Lynch said the company continued to review the merits of all planned and existing stores as part of doing business.
“We have a lease agreement with the landlord of our Dandenong store until 2016,” she said.
“No decision has been made to close the store.”
Speculation regularly surrounds the site’s sales figures and viability, but Myer was unable to comment on individual store performance.
A spokeswoman for GPT, which manages the plaza, told the Star: “As active asset managers GPT continues to explore opportunities to improve the retail offer at Dandenong.”
Myer will stay
