A CYCLIST suffered serious injuries in a crash in Bangholme on 24 July, and police are appealing for witnesses.
The man in his forties was travelling south on Springvale Road, about 200 metres north of the Frankston Freeway, in front of a second cyclist when a tipper truck passed them about 6.10pm.
Police said he lost control of his bike and crashed, but what caused the crash was unknown.
The cyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol members want to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or saw a tipper truck driving in the area near two cyclists about 6pm on Wednesday 24 July.
