Industrial level hooning

HOONING in industrial areas is in Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol’s sights.
Acting Senior Sergeant Graeme Stanley said the activity was a safety issue for participants and bystanders.
“Police patrols around those areas will be increasing in order to deter and prosecute any people found participating in any hoon activity,” he said.
“With the warmer weather coming on there’s probably been a bit more activity.
“We’re trying to get the message out as early as we can that we’re aware of the activity and we’re trying to put in as many resources as we can to deter hoons.”
