CHISHOLM Institute is Australia’s Large Training Provider of the Year.
The Dandenong-based TAFE received the Australian Training Award at a gala ceremony in Adelaide on Friday 21 November.
It was among three finalists following its successful win in the category at the Victorian Training Awards in September.
“This award recognises our strategic planning and reflects our commitment to effectively engage with the community and industry and forge enduring partnerships within the south east and beyond,” Chisholm CEO Maria Peters said.
“This Australian Training Awards recognises the VET sector, a sector within education that is not well understood and has a significant impact on the economy and society.
“Quality vocational education and training… develops practical skills, technical knowledge and offers important pathways to careers needed for the ongoing development of our workforce, growth in industry and the economic sustainability of our communities.”
Chisholm offers 400 nationally recognised courses.
