Knifeman raids bottle shop

A KNIFE-WIELDING man raided a Keysborough bottle shop on Friday 2 January.
Police said he entered the 320 Cheltenham Road store about 7.15pm, walked straight to the service counter and calmly unfolded a paper bag.
He lifted the sleeve of his shirt to reveal a knife handle and told the attendant to fill up the bag with the cash from the register.
The victim filled the bag with about $1300 in cash and the thief walked calmly from the store, west towards the McDonald’s on the corner of Cheltenham and Perry roads.
He’s described as Caucasian and was wearing a two-toned long-sleeved shirt, a blue and white RACV cap, board shorts and thongs.
Call Detective Senior Constable Michael Harris at Dandenong Embona Taskforce on 8558 8684 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with any information.
