Stabbing victim jumps from moving car

A WOMAN jumped from a moving car and into the path of an ambulance following a stabbing last week.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Kim Alp said the victim had entered a vehicle at Dandenong Railway Station about 2.15am on 10 January.
A man and woman inside the car initiated an altercation, locked the doors and drove away with the victim in the back seat.
Sen Const Alp said they punched the woman several times and stabbed her in the leg and forearm with an unknown implement.
She leapt from the moving vehicle on Princes Highway, near EastLink.
A passing ambulance saw her fall from the car, attended to her and took her to Dandenong Hospital.
